I remember getting married and looking through hundreds of blogs, websites, and facebook albums and seeing very few brides and couples that looked like myself or my wife. And while that was 7 years ago, we still have a long way to go as a nation in regards to equal rights as LGBTQ+ folks. We see the hashtag #loveislove everywhere these days but our love stories, personalities, experiences and visions aren't equally displayed or promoted.
And I get it. As a lesbian myself, it is truly important to me to make my LGBTQ+ family feel as though they have someone to turn to when they need wedding photos, headshots, boudoir or anything else here in Philadelphia or beyond.
