Tara - A Philly Vintage Inspired LGBTQ Boudoir Session

If you scroll through my work, you will see this babe many times. Tara is, for me, the definition of a muse. Every shoot is different but still very much her. It has become this unfolding of herself in a way and in that, also an unfolding of myself. Each shoot is a different part of who she is and I find that to be such a beautiful picture of who are as humans…there isn’t just one way in which we look and are sexy. Or beautiful. Or worthy. Boudoir isn’t an arrival at worthiness, its the ever uncovering of new ways in which vulnerability meets beauty captured meets a safe place to see yourself as the sexual, intimate being that you are. And its why I have returned to shoot her over and over again these last four years. She has pushed me, in just being herself, to understand feminity and queerness and gender and sexuality, in a new way. And I am ever grateful for her.
