Mike and Seth - A Modern Foundry at the Filmore Wedding

It isn't often I get asked to do things that have never been done before, so when Mike and Seth asked if I would interested and available to photograph their wedding at the Foundry at the Fillmore, I jumped at the chance!!!  The Fillmore is one of the hottest new concert venues in Philadelphia and it has a gorgeous space called the Foundry, where these two cuties decided to tie the knot!  Instead of traditional tablescapes and formal traditions, Mike and Seth opted for a laid back, cocktail style affair that was so wonderful to be apart of!  Karen from the Foundry helped the guys with all of the details and was a joy to work with!  And Seth's mom took care of all the beautiful floral details, which brought the day together perfectly!  And even more awesome?  They both gifted each other with custom cufflinks!  Wait till you see them!

One of my favorite parts of this wedding was that they had a beautiful hotel suite downtown to get ready in together.  They helped each other put on their suits surrounded by their bridal party before venturing into city hall for a few portraits.  Watching these two button each others shirts and steal sweet kisses in between was a great reminder that sometimes spending the whole day together is more fun!  Their bridal party was hilarious and kept the whole afternoon full of laughter and honestly?  It was easily one of my favorite weddings of 2016.

I can't wait to be back at the Foundry on New Years Eve but this time not for work!  :)  I love this venue and can't recommend it enough if you are looking for an offbeat, creative venue for your wedding!  Enjoy (more than) a few of my favorites and a huge thank you to Seth and Mike for allowing me the honor of capturing your wedding day!
