Adonis- An In Home Newborn Session

For years I have said that I don't photograph newborns or babies, partly because of the time involved, partly because I am better at other things and partly for a host of other reasons.  But when Kristin, our dear friend asked if I would photographer her sisters maternity and newborn photos, I couldn't say no.  Sweet little Adonis was born earlier this month and on Monday I had the honor of photographing him, his momma, Kristin and grandma at their home in Philadelphia.  Lifestyle sessions are one of my favs but this session stole my heart.  This little guy gave us the cutest little faces and I love the photos of him with his momma.  We had the perfect light in their living room and all in all, it was the perfect session.  

Alexis, I hope these photos are ones you can hold on to with the years and months to come as Adonis gets bigger and grows into an incredible man one day.  You are already a great mom and with help like your sister Kristin, I know he is going to have all the love in the world!  And I hope to have the honor of photographing him along the way.
