Eliza and James - Wedding Wednesdays at Love Park Philadelphia Elopement

Every Wednesday during the warmer months the city of Philadelphia offers the fun option to have your ceremony in front of the iconic LOVE statue in Love Park near city hall and every year a few couples hire me to capture their wedding days! Eliza and I have worked together before, she came to me back in 2019 for boudoir and I just instantly fell in love with her infectious joy filled spirit and so when she reached out me capturing her wedding day, I was so excited! She was the most beautiful bride and their day was full of so many tears and so much laughter and it was just fun to explore Philly with the two of them!

One thing I also wanted to say is that this is proof that a simple wedding day can also be a really beautiful one. I think in our society we value too much the big, expensive wedding days and have a story of thats the only way to have a beautiful wedding day. But it’s not true! You can hire your favorite photographer, wear a dress you love (and in this case, picked out by the groom!!!), take photos at some of your favorite parts of your city and end it all with a beautiful lunch with some of your people. Idk what’s better than that ya’ll!
