Old City Philadelphia Micro Wedding at Bridge on Race
Occasionally I take off my photographer hat and get to do other fun things in addition to photography and Barb and Rich’s micro wedding at Bridge on Race was on of those days! Barb reached out to me about wanting to do a microwedding that would incorporate her love water and the outdoors, but in a cool modern way and I immediately knew that our apartment building was the perfect location for their day! I planned and created the whole thing for the two of them, giving nods to Barb’s love of whimsy and bright florals. And I LOVED how it turned out.
We started the day by checking into a stunning suite by Coral Homes and then Barb headed off to Ulta in South Philly where Salon manager Tara Foran glammed her up! They each out dressed back at their suite before seeing each other and heading out to do some portraits. These two invited 20 of their favorite people to help them celebrate becoming Mr and Mrs and got married at sunset atop a beautiful outdoor deck overlooking the Ben Franklin bridge. Afterward, they ate incredible food by 12th Street catering and danced and drank the night away. It was perfection ya’ll! And I am so thrilled to share probably wayyyy too many favorites by myself and my second shooter Abhi!
