Tiel - A Philadelphia Boudoir Session
With the holidays and the start of a new year, I have been so busy that I haven't had the time to blog so many of the amazing sessions we've done over the last few months but I am desperately trying to catch up because there are so many incredible people I want to share with all of you!
We have been in our new studio just over a month now and it still seems surreal. This space is beautiful...light streams in through 13 foot windows, the original hardwood floors from 200+ years ago, the timeless brick, the furniture.....its all beyond what I ever dreamed of. I knew I wanted my first session here to be special and our sweet friend Tiel made it just that. Tiel is one of the best burlesque performers, she is a talented pole artist and more than all that, the most loyal and caring friend. She wanted to do this session for herself and to capture both the masculine and feminine sides to her, and well, as you'll see, she is incredible. I loved her styling, her outfit choices and her willingness to do whatever! It made for the perfect first session here and I am so so excited to finally share this session with all of you!
Before we get to the images though, I wanted to take a moment for you, Tiel. You are one of the strongest, bravest, sexiest women I know and yet also so humble and kind. You're beauty is one that not only shines from the outside, but one that is found in your wide open heart and I'll-do-anything-for-you nature. You always make me feel like the most talented photographer, even when I was struggling to figure out the lighting in this new space or when I am feeling less that amazing. Jordan and I adore you (and Chris!) and are so grateful for your friendship and big ass hugs. Thank you for teaching me how to do a contour and for always knowing just what to say to make me feel all the feels. All the love in the world to you mama <3
