We've Moved - Our New Natural Light Studio in Philadelphia

When my studio-mates informed me that they wouldn’t be renewing their lease on the gorgeous, industrial studio we shared in Fishtown Philadelphia, I was pretty shocked. That space was so dreamy!! But there was no way I was going to afford that massive, expensive space on my own so after looking at a lot of other options, I moved out and believed I would just cut back on boudoir and focus my attention somewhere else. But sometimes the universe has other ideas. The day after I loved all my stuff out of 2424 Studios, the building manager emailed me asking if I had any interest in this third floor corner unit that was coming available and I basically said yes before I even saw it. With two huge walls of windows, concrete floors and the fact that it was in budget and could be all MINE was a no brainer and I am so excited to say we have moved in and shot our first few sessions there!!

This space, while in the same building, is very very different from my old one. Its much brighter and has a totally different type of industrial vibe but its honestly all I have ever wanted in a studio space. We made the decision to paint one of the walls black to help bring in some of those moody vibes from our old space and of course kept our black silk sheets, but we have also layered in more textures, a big new couch, lots of plants and really soon will be hanging a ton of floor to ceiling curtains! While its different, I think this space will allow me to serve my studio clients the way I have always wanted to! The Client Wardrobe now lives somewhere that makes sense - in giant wardrobe!!! Everything is sorted into drawers by size (we’ve got things ranging from a xs to a 5x) and there is a second wardrobe with all of our hanging pieces, maternity dresses, glamour gowns and veils! And there are so many different ways we can customize the space for a clients session now too!
