These two showed up for their engagement session at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and Boat House Row and I was immediately jumping up and down because they are just so incredibly cute!!! They both look at each other with such love and devotion and its really obvious how much they love each other from spending even 5 minutes with them. And for a photographer, that kind of love is a dream to shoot!
Read MoreI knew when I asked if Amanda (too fun that we have the same name right?) if she'd wanna shoot with me at Local Hotel in Old City Philadelphia, I wanted to have these images play with light and shadows. The result are some seriously sultry, badass images with moody light and one insanely gorgeous model. Amanda went really simple with her looks and so the light in Lokal Hotel and the beautiful blue details created deep shadows and bold highlights and I LOVE the way these turned out.
Read MoreWe spent about an hour wandering around Old City Philadelphia and she got so many different types of images in that time! I love how these turned out and am thrilled to share them with all of you!
Read MoreThere are some locations I will never tire of shooting at and Ridley Creek State Park is certainly one of them! Niki and Jen choose this location for their engagement shoot and they showed up SO nervous for our session! I get it though! Having your photo taken is nerve wracking and a little scary especially as an LGBTQ couple but ten minutes in of showing them back of the camera previews and ooo-ing over how freakin cute they are, had these two relaxed and laughing.

I am in love with these photos and it was awesome to shoot in a location I haven't been to in awhile! Old City Philadelphia did not disappoint and I got spoiled with allll the gorgeous glowy light!
Read MoreI remember reaching out to Anna and asking if she would be willing to model for me while I was shooting my summer boudoir marathon at Lokal Hotel in Old City Philadelphia and was THRILLED when she said yes. Often my clients choose to not allow me to share their images online so whenever I can I try to work with a few models here and there so I can show new work and I knew that I wanted to show something a little edgier and darker this go around!
Read MoreThis blog post is a unique one in that I only have a handful of images to share with all of you! Rachel and Justin had the most beautiful traditional Quaker Wedding over the summer at the Chestnut Hill Meeting House and they asked me to photograph their day for them, however, it wouldn't be like most of my weddings.
Read MoreGabby responded to a model call I put out about needing several LGBTQ couples to photograph this past weekend for a little something I am working on and I was so excited to photograph her again! As we started walking with them toward their location, I caught Jordan mouth the word RING to me and all of sudden my brain went into rapid mode trying to figure out how I would signal Brooke that I was ready for her to propose. Somehow it all worked out perfectly because when I asked Brooke to do the most romantic thing I could think of (something I ask all of my couples at the start of their session) she took a step back, reached into her pocket and dropped to one knee. Gabby couldn't believe she was proposing but the look of joy on her face says it all.
